ASUS Spring Cup 2012 has once again finished another group stage with the final eight teams competing for two spots at Final Battle of the Year and 90,000 RUB now known. While the tournament has seen various top teams sign up but not compete such as the former WinFakt squad, no real top teams have gone out yet with the most notable teams knocked out in the previous stage being snT and escalate. The group stage will be played in standard best-of-one format but only one team will drop out per group as the top three teams will advance with the winners going directly to semi-finals and second and third place teams facing one another from the other group in quarter finals.
Virtus.pro will already face Anexis today at 21:00 to kick off this group stage. Teams have until Saturday to finish out this phase of the tournament and HLTV.org will continue covering it with hot matches.
